Well done everyone for your efforts in May! It was the busiest month ever, with over 4000 tasks ticked off.
It makes me so happy that people are using and appreciating MyChores. Thank you.
I have been quite busy lately and haven’t had time for much MyChores development. I do, however, have a little bit of news: [...]

If you want an easy way to do a lucky dip, just drag this bookmark to your toolbar.
Lucky dip
Then, if you don’t like the task it picks for you, you can just press the button again and get another one!
Yesterday was a very busy day on MyChores with 230 tasks completed. That is a record [...]

We are now up and running with Rails 2.0.2. There were a few unforseen difficulties along the way, and you will probably need to login again. We are now storing session information in the database rather than cache in your browser. This turns out to be more secure.
The American English spellings are ready and our [...]

I am very excited about some enhancements coming very soon! Firstly, let me tell you about something i released last month but kept quiet about it: in-place editing. You can now edit a task’s title and due date from your workload list without going to the edit page. It needs a setting activated in Preferences [...]

I updated the public statistics page to add a bar chart at the bottom, showing the five most popular themes. This is mostly for my own interest, but i guess there could be a few people out there who love statistics as much as i do!

It seems to me that the DNS is fully updated now; i haven’t had any problems with MyChores this morning. I have also set the email settings to send email from the new server, and that seems to be working fine too.
Is everybody receiving their emails? At the right time? Give or take an hour [...]

I forgot to mention last night, the statistics page now includes a chart of tasks completed daily for the current month. I wanted to do it as a column chart but couldn’t get it to work, so it’s another bar chart, the same as the others. One day perhaps i’ll have some more time to [...]

I don’t know about anybody else, but i’m really happy with the new statistics page! I can see that more tasks have been done in May 2007 than in the whole of November 2006 … and we’re only at the 11th of the month! That really is exciting!
I would like to put a bit more [...]

Ahhh, i’m really pleased to announce a brand new statistics page. No more pretty line graphs and pie charts, i’m afraid, but on the plus side, this page keeps itself right up to date and i don’t have to do anything. It will also be easy for me to add any new statistics on to [...]

I was just making the statistics for April, but then discovered Gnumeric doesn’t like exporting the charts as pictures anymore, since i upgraded to Mandriva 2007. It just says, “An unknown failure occurred” or something like that.
To be quite honest, i was finding the statistics quite a bore to do anyway, and i don’t think [...]
