An IE bug tracked down

Today i tracked down the cause of a bug in Internet Explorer that causes an ‘Unterminated string constant’ javascript error. It is when a task name has an apostrophe in it! I’m sure i’ll be able to fix it now that i’ve realised what it is.

In order to verify this i have downloaded the incredible IEs4Linux which enables me to have version 5, version 5.5 and version 6 all running side by side! No more loading up virtual machines or going on my partner’s computer to test under Internet Explorer!

It’s absolutely incredible the difference between different IE versions - i’d never have imagined! Here is a screenshot showing all three, side by side, notice the text layout looks completely different!

I’ll post again once i’ve fixed this. In the meantime don’t panic, it doesn’t actually break anything; it just looks a little bit unprofessional.
