Colour-coded teams (beta test)
I received an interesting suggestion from Jennifer yesterday, who wrote:
An idea would be to colour coat each Team you have in your list. Then each list & tasks would be assigned the colour the Team was given.
I felt inspired to have a go at that last night. As a result you can now edit your team and choose a colour to represent it. That comes as a background colour for the team, all its lists and all their tasks. I think it could be helpful for people who have multiple teams to manage. Thanks to knallgrau ColorPicker you can choose any colour within the RGB spectrum.
I can foresee that i might need to allow setting of text colour as well as background colour, because what looks okay on your theme might not show up on your team member’s theme.
I don’t imagine many people will use colour-coding, but it’s a nice little feature to have for those who will make use of it.
Yes, i seem to have managed to slip in another British-Englishism! Just one more thing for the Globalize plugin whenever i get round to implementing it. In the meantime, i hope you Americans can tolerate my British spelling of colour!
MyChores for Kids is still progressing, but not ready to release just yet. I might get some work done on it this weekend, but i have a busy one coming up.
