Downtime aftermath
Firstly - I LOVE YOU PEOPLE!! Within minutes of sending out the email saying MyChores was back, the site was once again buzzing with activity. I have had several encouraging emails both today and yesterday, and i received no complaints at all. Thank you so much, all of you, for being so wonderfully understanding.
From what i can gather, Rushed Sunlight consists of one person, whose name is Paul Campbell. Paul is an absolutely wonderful person, ever so polite, friendly, helpful … but there is only so much that a single person can do. It seems the server fell over at a time when Paul was un-reachable.
This weekend has made me realise that the number one priority for MyChores now is reliability. When we move to the new host, we will have a dedicated team of people supporting us around the clock, actively looking for things that might go wrong before they do. I know that several people visit MyChores on a daily basis, and i appreciate that. Consistency of service is the least i can give you in return.
