MyChores Journal now on WordPress
I have migrated this journal to use WordPress instead of Typo. I found Typo a bit tedious, especially as it went wrong a long time ago, breaking all the URLs, and i couldn’t work out how to fix it. I’ve just started using WordPress for a personal blog, and i love it! It’s very customisable, easily extendable, and it supports OpenID commenting, something i’ve wanted to implement ever since i allowed OpenID login for MyChores.
Thanks to Stuart Johnson’s migration scripts i have been able to migrate all posts and categories across to WordPress, and the old permalink format has been ported across. I have also implemented the URL rewrites for the old RSS feeds, so they should continue to work.
