We are OpenID enabled!
MyChores has just become OpenID enabled! I’ve tested it with LiveJournal, MyOpenID and VeriSign, and they all work a treat. You are welcome to associate your MyChores account with an OpenID; just go to Preferences and it’s under Login details.
I have become quite the OpenID evangelist in the space of a few short days! It took me a long time to ‘get it’ because it’s quite a strange concept, being re-directed off to another site to request your permission to share authentication details with the first site. I still don’t quite know how to explain it properly, but if you’re interested in finding out more i recommend two short videos that explain very well:

Before long i will update MyChores Mobile to also accept OpenID logins. That should be up and running by the weekend. I will also create a few FAQs.
Please do let me know if you experience any OpenID difficulties. I’m here to help. And remember, you don’t have to use it at all if you don’t want to. The old login method still works too! :)
