MyChores Themes
I was inspired today to make a new theme for MyChores. It’s soppily called ‘Love’ – i could have saved it for Valentines Day … but i was too excited to wait that long! Here’s a preview:
The picture at the top is of rose petals, credit to Raven3k for this photograph.
The theme has an advantage that it uses screen space more efficiently, and if you have a large monitor it will expand to use up all available space. This will be especially useful when i eventually get around to doing customisable workload lists, as i have been hinting at for ages …!
If you would like to make use of the space efficiency but don’t fancy rose petals at the top of your screen, i’ve also made a ‘Simplicity’ theme with the same layout, but colour scheme more like the original. Here’s a preview:
If you would like to use either of these themes, you’ll find them under Preferences → General Preferences. If you’re happy to stick with the default theme, you need do nothing.
If you would like to make a theme of your own, i’d be very interested to hear from you. I’d really like to get a good theme that can become the default theme. I know there are people out there far better at graphic design than i will ever be! I will, of course, make you a Site Contributor and give you full credit for it.
