One-off tasks and inactive tasks
Thanks to a suggestion from Otterylexa, you can now record one-off tasks on MyChores. You set up a one-off task in the same way as any other task, but you tick the ‘one-off’ ticky box.
When a one-off task is complete, it changes the status to inactive. This means it no longer appears on the workload list, but it still belongs to a list. So if you go to that list, you’ll see it at the bottom under ‘Inactive tasks’.
You can also make other tasks inactive whenever you wish. This could be useful, for example, in the Winter you don’t need to mow the lawn, so you set that task to inactive.
