Speed Issues, export to spreadsheet, and general news
Sorry about the slow speed of MyChores over the last 24 hours. I fiddled with the .htaccess file last night, blatantly not having a clue what i was doing, and ended up skewing everything a little bit. However, we should be back up to the normal speed again now.
Paul from Rushed Sunlight tells me we’re getting an upgrade next week sometime, which ‘should make things a lot more efficient’. I’ll post here if i get any more information about that.
Paul also helped me to solve the export to spreadsheet issue, so it is now possible to download a spreadsheet of your tasks! If you’d like to try it out, go to www.mychores.co.uk/tasks/export (export to spreadsheet is available to site supporters only).
It exports as a .csv file. I may include other formats later on, but i think .csv can be read by any spreadsheet program.
MyChores got a mention in a Twitter newsletter for our integration! We’re also on the Twitter Fan Wiki! We’ve now got people signing up from America, Sweden, Czech Republic, Japan and Australia! Plus lots from the UK, of course! Very exciting!!
