Alternative to Standard Tasks

I have been thinking about the Standard Tasks. I have noticed that the majority of people follow one of two routes when they join:

  1. Notice they have no tasks and so do nothing.
  2. Create standard tasks, get scared by how much there is to do, and so do nothing!

My new idea is to create 10-20 really basic tasks in 3-4 lists when people join, so there’s not much to do, they’re able to get started, and obviously can add their own tasks. Would anyone like to help me come up with the ‘bare bones’ tasks to get people started gently?

I’m also going to tie this in with the simplified invite process, so that if someone signs up as a result of being invited to join a team, they’re immediately linked into that team, and don’t have their own separate tasks to do as well.

Anyway, just thought i’d share that. Any thoughts?
