Re-assign a whole list load of tasks
There is a neat new feature on the site as of tonight. You can quickly re-assign all tasks in a list.
Click on one of your lists, and where you have “Edit list” and “Delete list” you now get a new option “Re-assign tasks in list”. It’s just a quick way to update all your tasks at once.
This is part 1 of a 2-part suggestion from MazzaRC – the second part will follow shortly. It will allow you to give tasks a rotating assignment. So within a team, each time a task is completed, the assignment will be passed on to the next person in the team. The idea is that you’ll be able to set up an entire list on a rotating basis (this week it’s my turn to do the bathroom tasks; next week it’ll be someone else’s turn). MyChores will automatically do the re-assigning for you when each task is completed.
All the usual security checks are in place (you can’t reassign a list if you’re not in the team, and you can’t assign to people who aren’t members of the team). Let me know if you spot any errors!
