Search facility
I am really pleased with the search page i’ve managed to put together today, niftily using AJAX thanks to a little bit of help :) I have tested it but there could well be errors remaining. If anything funny happens please let me know!
The only thing i don’t like about it is the pagination – i had to take it off because it was causing errors when the search string is blank. Plus where i’ve got it searching potentially up to 4 collections at once, it might get rather confusing to paginate. So i’ve just left it showing up to 10 matches of any collection.
Anybody can see all people and teams if they search for them. But lists and tasks are only searchable by logged on users, and they are automatically filtered down to only your lists and your tasks, in-keeping with the rest of the site security.
Ummm what else? Sorry, i’m rather tired and this isn’t as succinct as it ought to be, lol!
Oh yes! I got a logo from Paul at Rushed Sunlight, to go on my sidebar. I’m really pleased with all Paul’s help, and delighted that i chose Rushed Sunlight as my host. They are serving me extremely well and i’m very proud to display their logo on MyChores.
